The investigation includes: 1) interviewing affected employees; 2) conducting a physical site inspection; 3) evaluating ventilation systems, air exchange rates, machinery, maintenance procedures, operations, work practices, chemical usage, and chemical storage; and 4) if necessary, conducting air testing.
